Each holiday season, NSS Life does a National Christmas Card Collection where they collect cards, letters, and drawings from local groups to share with residents of Pittsburgh nursing homes, spreading cheer and kindness to those who may be alone during the holidays.

Join us for a cozy Mommy and Me story time featuring Robert's Snow. After Robert's heartwarming winter tale, you and your child will create your very own Robert the mouse ornament using Sculpey clay and mixed media/ A perfect way to celebrate creativity and storytelling.

Get into the holiday spirit by creating your own handmade cookie tray and matching mug for Santa. In this festive two-hour workshop, participants will learn basic slab-building techniques to shape, texture, and personalize their own ceramic pieces.

Parents get ready to go out and shop this Black Friday! During this 3 hour event we will keep the kids busy while you shop and hide the presents from the kids (or just enjoy some alone time) They will create a holiday themed craft, have a snack, play a game and if time allows watch a movie!

We will provide snacks and drinks please let us know if your child has any food allergies!

This event will be offered multiple times.

Join us in spreading kindness through creativity! When you sign up for this project, you’ll decorate a sturdy canvas bag that will later be filled with essential items and small comforts from our community wish list. These thoughtful bags will be donated to individuals and families in need through local shelters and outreach programs. Join Diane and give your mug some personality in this ceramic gnome mug workshop! In this workshop you’ll create one to two gnome mugs. Using various techniques Diane will show you how to make a handle, use score and slip, carve a beard, attach a handle and create a face and hat using coils.

This is a beginner friendly class.

Create up to two snowflake egg ornaments using traditional pysanky tools and techniques — with a creative twist! Great for beginners and experienced pysanka writers who enjoy thinking outside the box.

Things to Know:
We’ll be working with open flames.
Wear old clothes or an apron — dyes can stain.
Drinks must have lids.
