Pysanky Egg Ornament Class

Kelly is back with another Pysanky class! Sign up early, this class ALWAYS sells out!
You will not be able to use a gift card for this class as Kelly will be doing sign ups and taking payment.Create up to two snowflake egg ornaments using traditional pysanky tools and techniques — including beeswax, candles, and chemical dyes — with a creative twist! Add sparkle with rhinestones, metallic paints, and more. This 2–4 hour class is great for beginners and experienced pysanka writers alike who enjoy thinking outside the box.
We’ll also explore the symbolism and history of pysanky, an ancient Ukrainian folk art.
Things to Know:
We’ll be working with open flames.
All tools are provided.
Ages 12+ (adult supervision required).
Wear old clothes or an apron — dyes can stain.
Magnifiers are helpful for fine detail work.
Cameras and notebooks are welcome.
Drinks must have lids.
